Why are the locations of the satellites using SatView and during actual transmission sometimes different?

Sometimes the locations of the satellites using SatView and during actual transmission are different. This is most likely caused by the phone’s compass. On occasion, this compass is not calibrated correctly. It can give incorrect readings to the app causing different locations to be displayed for the satellites.
